Linda, you're not reading my posts
You're claiming I said:
<<<You call names at me, claiming I have to be short and trying to dismiss my thoughts on that basis>>>
When in fact I carefully worded it this way:
<<<I understand you're generally on the short side of this>>>
I still believe this - you're certainly not rabid, in fact just the opposite.
You also wrote:
<<<most people GO short because they feel the company is going to fail. They don't GO short intending to cause the company to fail.>>>
You're right - most of the time - good for those people if they're correct. In THIS case, however, I believe it was CLEARLY the latter scenario - Asensio first took a short position, then issued BOGUS press releases, all in an effort to manipulate the stock price. Some of Asensio's lies were revealed on this thread. In the last few days more have fallen to hard news. In time, the rest will also be reversed. Asensio made a mistake - maybe he didn't realized just how complicated the drug development business is. Sure, a good short player might have looked at Zonagen at $45 and decided it was ahead of itself. Asensio, driven by some pathology, wasn't satisfied & launched an attack (personal at times) in the press. The action surrounding this stock for the last few months has not been that of normal shorts. I don't have problems with all shorts, just with unprincipled ones.
I will post every bit of information I come across that proves these points. When I feel like it, which is most of the time, I will challenge every lie that Asensio/Wexler/Salgo et al posts here. I'm really sorry if that offends you. |
