Kerm/Onshore Newfoundland

If my memory serves me correctly, it was Pancanadian and Hunt Oil that
drilled an apparently successful well on the Port au Port Peninsula
in Western Newfoundland, the other side of the island from Hibernia.
They drilled some horizontal wells out toward the ocean in 1995 with
promising results.
At the beginning of this year or the end of last, they rented a rig to
drill offshore which came in with dissappointing results.
Since then no news and the juniors with nearby properties all fell in value.
Changing the subject I read someone was talking about rrsp's.
That stands for registered retirement savings plan, in Canada you
can defer taxes until retirement by buying and selling stocks in
a retirement plan. You must have something similar in the U.S..
