Brian I believe that the "internet" stocks rose circa 6% today without any "justification" (they have none for their collective valuation) but for the reason of the Lycos "news". CD Now, a company with no assets, large past losses, large projected future losses and selling a low margin commodity agreed to pay Lycos $16.5mm over three years for advertising. biz.yahoo.com Obviously the "promise" of $16.5mm over three years is worth $90mm in capitalization today.
