Umm, April Fool's? The CBOE was closed for a while, the VSE was closed for a while, a number of brokers in Toronto were closed due to power outages, but the TSE options floor was open all day. Pretty boring, though, outside of Ballard's having $12.80 range. I've traded stocks that didn't move that much in a year. (H$163.80,L151.00,CL156.75).

While I don't actually keep track, I'm sure last Thursday was the busiest day of my career--176 trades. I had the veritable 'skull full of mush' by about 3 o'clock. Barely able to keep my head above water with this Ballard. I really hope they split this puppy, to get some liquidity in the equity.

The DJIA seemed like a casino yesterday, down 50, up 50, only the third time the trading collar was put on in both directions. This market will not go up forever. I think I'll try the "sell in May and go away" strategy this year.

Happy trading.
