Martin:

Your solution to the arrow problem is much too ingenious in its simplicity for acceptance by the "artsy-fartsy" graphics designers. Now that they've morphed the turkey into almost Harvey-like invisibility, it'll take them a while (to avoid losing face) to acknowledge the stupidity of the same-colored, impossible-to- differentiate arrows.

Isn't it amazing? Doesn't anyone in charge at CNBC actually LOOK at the screen once in a while and say, "Why the %%$#@^&&*%%# are we doing it like that?" You can bet if Jack Welch or Bob Wright, GE and NBC honchos respectively, said something like, "that's stupid!", the arrows would be pink and blue (or whatever) lickity-split -- in a New York minute!

But, in the end, we'll win that one too!
