John: There are many foreign companies that will do extrordinary things to own " American Co Stock." It seems to represent some magical connection with success. Ownership is a thing of status, even in some of the more sophisticated companies. I have a friend in SA who would rather do business in stock than money. The govt. has to approve all transactions officially, but a lot is done without their knowledge. It CAN BE a medium of exchange that offers great advantage to the user. It seems easier to put conditions on stock than cash. Just a thought Al
