I don't think it is any coincidence that this latest run on AMAT started on April 1. I am not talking April Fool's day either. Given today's continued action in AMAT after the KLAC preannounce, there appears to be a rotation going on here by the institutions into this sector after the close of last quarter. How long it lasts in anyone's guess. I would not want to be standing in the way of this buying with a short position. One thing I have learned is never stand in the way of the big money on either the short side or the long side of stock.
