Brian, support and resistance are good technicals to use...I use Stoch.and RSI for confirmation, it is important to look at how the indicator has worked in the past for a security before using it to make a trade...i.e., stoch. and rsi are bad to use when a stock is on an extended uptrend(better for short term or trading ranges), macd is much better for momentum...
