Telebras may be closed on Apr 30 - This is a persistent rumour
in the (brazilian) telecom sector, both industry and state owned
operatives. On that date, the government will close the activites
of the state owned company, starting operations of four holding
fixed line cos plus twelve celular phone cos. The problem with this
goal is following the rules of the stock exchanges. The idea is
a widespread market campaign, with info about the process
and guarantees toinvestors, both internally and in foreign markets.
