NO, rumors and expectations are DEFINITELY heating up, because we've been led to believe by AXC's management thru their 10q's and quarterly mailouts that if drive manufacturers want keepering at all in '97, they've got to close deals before the end of '96, soooo... thus the heightened expectation and increasing rumor mill. I believe we'll hear something positive before 97, and the stock will at least double from here before the new year, with more to come if more than one manufacturer signs on. Someone said a few posts ago what we REALLY need is for Iomega to purchase Keepered Media! Then the stock will head for $1000 a share as that huge horde of Iomegaites stampedes to Ampex. Would be cute and fun and profitable if it happened, but I'm just wishing and dreaming. Announcement before the end of year? I hope and expect so!
