Mr Armand Beaudoin reports

Andrew M. Chater and Gary E. German have been appointed to the board of
directors. Mr Chater and Mr German replace Stephen R. Dattels and G.E.
Creber, both of whom are officers and directors of International Pursuit. Their
resignations were to avoid potential conflicts of interest in areas where both
companies are active.

Both Mr Chater and Mr German have many years experience in the mining
industry. Mr Chater was a senior geologist for many years with Newmont
Exploration of Canada and is currently president of Teddy Bear Valley Mines.
Mr German was formerly COO of TVX Gold and spent over 25 years with the
Noranda Group.
