Seems To Be Another Stong E-Commerce Day...

One of the interesting off-shoots of e-commerce is revenue-sharing
arrangements whereby a company like SEEK or XCIT gets a piece of
transactions. (I won't repeat my oft-cited XCIT statistic at
this point about the remarkable potential of such arrangements.)
The thing about revenue-sharing arrangements is that they introduce
a true wild-card into analysts' calculus of earnings. In fact,
I'm thinking that XCIT's earnings, in particular, will contain
some upside surprises in the very near future.

Today, Microsoft Expedia, their online travel source, announced
revenue-sharing amounting to $1 million so far, which though not
mind-blowing is fairly significant. Here's the link...

BTW, some tangential e-commerce plays like WAVO are also running
it seems.

Best Regards,
