Poetry/Poets
Being a simple sort, my predilection for poetry doesn't extend much beyond the level of limericks.
What an audacious bard, is that MICAP; A charming, insouciant madcap! But what he says of haiku, Is simply not true. Poor Moot gets a migraine from that crap.
In another respect, He's most right I suspect. With no financing news, We're left courting the blues. Without it, in short, we're all fecked!
To speak between ourselves--for you will not denounce me to the tragic and all the other imitative poets--all such poetry is likely to damage the minds of the audience unless these have knowledge of its nature, as an antidote. --Plato, The Republic, 595b
