Nordstrom to open ÿÿÿÿÿLas Vegas golf shop ÿÿÿÿÿ ÿÿÿÿÿ Seattle-based Nordstrom will open an apparel shop at 7:30 a.m. Friday at the Callaway Golf Center on the Strip at Sunset Road. ÿÿÿÿÿ The department store operator, under a license granted by Callaway Golf Co., had developed the Callaway Golf Apparel and Footwear by Nordstrom collection for men and women. ÿÿÿÿÿ Nordstrom launched the line of golf apparel and shoes in 1994. The clothing shop marks the company's first venture in Las Vegas. Rumors persist that it's eyeing Las Vegas for a future department store. ÿÿÿÿÿ "Opening this new shop in the Callaway Golf Center is an outstanding opportunity for us to build brand awareness for the collection in one of the country's largest, most important golf markets," said Nordstrom Co-president Erik Nordstrom.
