This situation says something about technical vs. fundamental analysis. All the technical indicators said this stock was going into an uptrend (they turned positive just before earnings) then earnings are a disaster. But it goes up anyway following the technical indications instead of the current news on earnings. Imagine if earnings had been good. Shorts must be shaking their heads.
