"During the year ended December 31, 1997, the Company incurred consulting and other fees in the aggregate amount of $738,000 for services provided by directors and executive officers of the Company. Of this amount, $45,000 was paid to Bill Allred. The portion of that amount paid to the executive officers named in the Summary Compensation Table is shown as their respective salaries for 1997 in the Table."
