Dear Casey: Why do you think the Japanese would cash in their us savings bonds? to get a declining currency?? to invest at less than 1% at home?? Remember, Japan has the largest cache of Reserves in the world. They could live off their savings probably forever. BUT, the reason the Japanese economy SUCKS is because they dont spend any money. Money makes the world go around. Instead of buying those cars they ship the little shits over here. So what do they have. A big pile of greenbacks. What good are they?? Cant eat em. Cant drive em. Unless you SPEND them they are useless. If they would open up their markets and let the world in it would be a healthy economy for everyone including them. Now thats all I am going to say on this subject on this thread. Want to argue Private Mail me. JDN
