in your prior memo you did make some sense but this one I am not getting. Intel owns the market so it is obvious that most of the computers are with intel. K5 came way too late yet it shows some sales that is a clear indication that companies are fed up. I understand the need for an alternative solution and it is not a need for a better performing chip. Let us be clear about it.
Your argument is similar to the argunment against pcs in 80's -- since most of the companies were using main frame system there could be no commercial application of pcs.
I know it is hard for you but try to keep an open mind.
