Ahh, yes. Good points.
Yes, WE need faster connections..
The CEO is being conservative. His staff will grow, no.'s should grow.
I do think that hundreds of thousands in first two mo's is too high. Thousands is more like it. It's just the start- not covering that much city just yet! But if his breakeven analysis is correct, well!!!
Marketing? I think they must be using a broadband radio of some sort, and THAT is a product seeking a market, so I suspect they have backing from heavy hitters- thus the WBR show appearance(when?).
But potential customers in La. won't attend show in Dallas.
Yes, new markets ought to arise from the show in Dallas. It will take time to enter them though- staffing for starters.
AOL competitor? MEME would compete only as an ISP. What % of total Internet connections does AOL handle? MEME will offer ISP's a way to compete with cable Modems- and quite possibly ahead of the game. Note that there are currently over a mere 100,000 cable modem internet access subscribers in the U.S.A. The cable industry is moving- I have no AOL access NO. where I live- but my cable Co. plans to offer me cable modems by summer... . I think they are going to charge too much for me though...for now...
Is today the last day to get MEME cheap? Fine with me. We'll see.
IMHO this post of mine is total speculation...
