Y'know, I think chainlink will be the answer. Then this tract becomes one of a dozen like it up&down the transmission line. Right now it's a Special Place, the only unfenced undeveloped parcel in the area. Punk magnet. If the kids come with wire cutters, I've won the war. Because then I've given the police a credible "hammer" with which to prosecute. "Good fences make good neighbors". And it takes time to cut the wires. The immediate neighbors are nosy enough to notice. The two houses across from me have seen a lot of what's going on. Update: I got off the line with Len Grilli. He seems like a real nice fella actually. I will write him another letter - long on fact, long on urgency, but without the litigious tone. He got my first letter into hands that asw fit to post in the first place. I think the main deal is corporate inertia. I have to push for a while, then stand back and watch the target slowly get rolled over.
