Indeed, CPQ will survive, but if your broker is going to
call you to request that you cover your ill-conceived
shorts, I hope you do not have to sell your leaps, or else
you will be the one who is going to do the leaping ...
(because you are in hot water, dude !!!)

You know the market is marching towards 9000, and your
beloved CPQ has not done a thing in the last few sessions.
I guess buying a leap is not a bad idea.
What is the striking price of your leaps ???
