Shareholders do have to vote on a stock split. If KO wanted however, they could have an "emergency" vote. Dont know if they will, or if they'll wait and see if the price holds. Coke usually does split around 80 though. Thats because a lot of us hold it for children and buy it for children because its something they understand!!!! ( I had quite a time trying to explain USRX to a little one although children are getting computer literate for games at a mighty young age.) Everyone undertand coca cola as the research on logos the Chinese knew pointed out.
