In addition to trying to get into the class action suits, you might also consider filing an appearance in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case (you can do this yourself) and requesting that you be served with all pleadings filed in the case. Then, you will be able to tell if a creditors' committee of shareholders is formed. The class action suits are halted by the automatic stay afforded the debtor under the Bankruptcy Code, but the class action plaintifffs' counsel will no doubt be moving to lift the stay to be allowed to proceed. If you have a significant investment in the company, it's in your best interest to monitor the bankruptcy case and file a proof of claim TIMELY.
