While Hoover certainly did commit some violations of privacy.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes, sorta, WAHT an understatement! He was also tight with organized crime. Did he ever really successfully prosecute the mob? Uh-uh. Spent his time checking up on politicians' sex lives. Sound familiar? But at least Bill doesn't turn up at parties in a pink dress and a wig. I was never a great fan of RFK's but it was Hoover, not Bobby, who began the MLK investigations, and blackmailed B into acquiescing. Hoover was a bigtime racist. Read Anthony Summers's book on Hoover. Extremely interesting.
