I agree that it could play out either way, and my best guess is that acquisition is more likely in a 6-12 month timeframe. Also agree that it doesn't really matter over the next 2 quarters.

On last conference call, Sbona was pretty strong on company being profitable in the 5/31 quarter, and analysts are believing him.

This stock has been held way back for a long time due to lack of credibility of prior management and a long history of disappointing quarters. The technology is solid and current trend to knowledge management is playing right into their strength. Verity has refocused on its historical core corporate enterprise business, and recent deals with Glaxo, KPMG, E&Y and others support this approach. They've continued to expand direct sales organization since last summer and they're starting to see the payoff.
