GE,

I really did not want to post again but you have brought me back. In 1989 I had a local attorney draw up two partnership agreements that were used to form 2 general partnerships. The partnerships collected money that was invested in an Arnold Palmer golf course in Missouri. When the floods hit the state in 93 and 94 it wiped out much of the course along with the revenue for those 2 years. Arnold pulled out and left the course in inexperienced hands. I had known Arnold for a number of years and was quite surprised with his decision but he decided to cut his losses and go. The result was the course was lost to foreclosure. Everybody who had anything to do with it was sued including Arnold and myself. Complaints were filed with the SEC. They determined the two general partnerships were securities and should have been registered. There were no misappropriation of funds and tax returns were filed on time but as the SEC stated they should have been registered It was a very expensive loss for me in a number of ways but most of all my wife and myself invested everything we had in the partnerships including 100% of my pension plan. Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose. This one will stay with me the rest of my life.

Since you posted this on the DCI thread instead of contacting me directly I must assume you are trying to draw a connection between DCI and Arnold Palmer and or the golf course. I can assure you and everybody else there is no connection. I doubt if Arnold has ever heard of DCI or if the officers at DCI even know Arnold on a personal basis. Some one on the FTEL thread brought this up some time ago and my answer there was pretty much the same as here. George, if you still feel this is pertinent to DCI please feel free to call me at 1-937-434-0876 and I will discuss it with you.
