144 documents are filed prior to the sale, so it does sounda bit strange. Because of our position in the markets and orientation towards larger clientelle, we do a lot of 144 transactions. If the paperwork isnt in order, we don't do the sale. The stock, the sale or the proceeds are not ours to holdup.
Call and speak to a sales supervisor.
Then think about who you are doing business with.
