To Terry and all,

Shorts get bought in all the time in thinly traded stocks. However, in ZITL, with about 1 million shares traded everyday, there's more than enough float for people to short. The shares are trading hands so fast even DTC wouldn't know where all the shares are.

For all the longs out there, I wouldn't be worried about Mondoman's position. From his postings, he'd be a drop in the ocean compared to professional short traders. These people use actual market makers to short stock they can't borrow. MM's can short stock they don't have simply to facilitate trading and can carry that position as long as they have the capital to buy it back. I have no way of verifying this, but I've heard of shorts who have shorted a company 6 times over. That means their short position was 6 times the shares outstanding. The conclusion of that story was the stock eventually stopped trading and got delisted. Someone's goona ask: so the stock was Future Communications; anyone remember Rafi Kahn, RKS Securities?

If Y2K is all hype and no substance, Mondoman and the INfamous WG would be the last shorts I'd be worried about.

Drew
