any thoughts on HWP and CPQ shopping around with INTC's competitors. just read artcile on ZDNET on HWP using AMD and CPQ using CYRX. while this is nothing new, it seems they are ramping up on production using competitor's chips. i don't think it's enough to cause any kind of major dent to INTC - but what is main motivation in this? i would guess that they are using the lower to mid-range chips of these guys... so why the need to go to these particular producers? i didn't hear INTC having a shortage on those chips... or is it just to get their margins up higher? or just to diversify supplier base?

just wondering...
