Westell damage control?

If WSTL gets left out of any GTE deployment does anyone think that the Seamans PR about his retirement could be there way to distance there self's from the past? A kind of "preemptive damage control". I kinda feel that if WSTL was going to be part of any GTE deployment insiders would have already driven the price up well past current levels on much higher volume.

Also, ORCTF never did license from Amati/TI. Given just that piece of information alone I doubt that GTE would choose to go with them and face possible litigation. Given the timing of ORCTF's PR it does appear that they are trying to make it seem as if they are the ones that GTE has chosen for deployment though. Smoke and mirrors ?
