DR et al,
Here is a post I made on AOL. Only reason I mention that is for those of you who read both threads - I wouldn't want you to read the same thing twice.

I don't think GF has an ACE in the hole. Otherwise he would use it. There is no reason to wait until Monday if he has that ACE. He can't be buying these warrants at a quarter knowing he has an ACE to pull out. The SEC would be all over him (as well as a few shareholder's lawyers). I think the conference call was hastily called when GF and Mill saw the reaction (or lack of) to their last release. He ordered the call for one of two reasons (IMO).

First, he planned on working like hell to pull something together between the Wednesday release and Monday call - to produce an ACE - that I think is wishful thinking.

Second, and this one falls back to what others have been addressing in the past, he may be conducting the call to clarify the last 20 or so press releases. I have read many press releases from other companies and most don't leave me with more questions after reading them than I had before. We all have read releases from companies (big and small) that are long and detailed. Most of AIPNs have been short and lack much detail. Who is to blame - either GF or Mill, I really don't care who - fact remains - all press releases from this company have been poorly written and answer few questions. So maybe GF only plans on clearing up a lot of outstanding questions. I think it is long overdue and needed but I question the impact it will have.

I think it is likely that the warrants will be extended. You don't have to be an expert on this folks - just look at what he has done with the warrants up to this point - he has extended them before because he needs the money. I think the odds are that he will extend at the last minute if the stock does not see a prompt jump up soon. Why would he let the warrants expire? Only because he has sufficient funds via other sources. Now, how many of you believe that? Concur with another poster who listed all the reasons he needs funds. With the Russian deal that is pending and the Florida Refinery, not to mention a few wells to dig in KAZ he would most certainly need a lot of money (the warrant money).

Sorry I have gone on so long but we are obviously at a very critical point (critical for both warrant holders and common holders). The more discussion the better (IMHO).
