The sun has set, but before it did, I got that third row of block re-set and leveled. One more row to go.

I can remember getting block for .66 per block. Last year I got lucky and bought 75 blocks at .79 per block. I checked around and would have had to pay .85 + delivery fee to 1.25 per block. I can't believe they've appreciated so much. The building around the area has probably driven up the prices due to supply and demand.

FINALLY!!, I got the truck load of topsoil I've been waiting about six months for. Now I can fill up those planting beds which I've completed or almost have done. I suspect it won't go as far as I'm hoping though. I've really got major landscaping projects on the brain.

That project you spoke of about the concrete planters and fencing sounded great. We did something similiar about 4 years ago. The path to our front door was rather hodge-podge, so we got some cinder blocks, made two straight rows from the drive to the steps, and filled the space between with pack gravel and chat. Then we plant perenials in the cinder block spaces each year. Makes a really nice sight as one approaches the door.

Hey, I'll put that Bud in the fridge with the one bottle of non-alcoholic beer we've had in there for about two years. Now it won't be lonely.

Another time,
