Halfscot,
I'm just catching up on the posts on this topic here today and I am compelled to respond as to what my reaction would be under the circumstances.
If a man, heretofore unknown to me, be it the State Governor or the President of the United States of America, Mike Tyson, William Kennedy Smith, or any other "villain" of that genre whom I may be omitting, were to invite me to meet him in his hotel room at some ungodly hour, I would not think it would be for purposes of testing my grammar and spelling and typing skills. Most hotels have very nice bars and other public sitting areas in which one may converse privately about job offers, job contracts, etchings, etc. To invite me, a complete stranger, to his room tells me right there that he has other things on his mind, and elsewhere.
