lisa, grand maiden of Strictly Drilling...I must disagree with you. The only really successful people I know personally in the investment business are long term investors. I won't mention Warren Buffet or Peter Lynch 'cause I don't know 'em... I know a lot of people try day trading and I also know a lot of them have their head handed back to them. Yes, yes, if you pick the wrong company to invest long term in you can lose too. BUT I would rather defer to number crunching and fundamental analysis than chart wiggles and luck. And regardless what you say, most success in day trading is luck. I'd prefer Vegas for that kind of thing...at least there you get free drinks if you lose a lot.
