Roger, you have said the magic word which invariably triggers my cat-like reflexes (Chuzzlwit the cat is helping me type this!) -- "over-valued". Every short who has come on this thread has claimed that DELL is over-valued, and to everyone of them I have replied:

If you think it is overvalued then you must have some method of properly valuing a growth company. Financial professionals will tell you that a valuation that will stand scrutiny must be based at a minimum on the expected cash flows from operations, the risk (standard deviation) of those cash flows and the long term risk-free rate of return. I have yet to see a theoretically sound model for valuing growth stocks. I have examined any number of heuristic models for growth stocks and have found that they don't work either. So would you please share with us the analytical basis upon which you feel DELL and any other growth stock for that matter, should be valued.

Regards,

Paul
