Hi Tiffany,

Welcome, and very happy to see you here. I have a small story to share with you too...

Remember on Dec 5 last year, the date Asnd was rumored to be purchased by LU for $35 cash per share..I was up early, pushed away all engagements, key board ready..singing, dancing around, and by all means was watching and listening to Maria with undivided attention. I was holding 5K shares with an avg of about $34... and $34 1/4 was what I was waiting for...I did not want to settle for $32!! Every cells in my brain told me to "sell 1/2 my holdings at $32 right now" as Asnd was flirting with 32 for over an hour...How I wish I had acted then....I would have been able to buy back my shares in early Jan and took advantage of tax loss...

Anyway, I am still long Asnd and I believe Asnd should reach $50 towards the end of the year if F/A continues to improve and earnings on target. LU buyout under pooling of interest A/C method is still feasible after October. However, unless Asnd's coming earnings greatly exceed expectation, why should the price appreciation exceed $40 right now, this week?...unless the current buyout rumor is forcing the shorts to cover...What if the buy-out is indeed rumor only....

Just some of my thoughts; and again, welcome to the thread...

Jan
