Songw Etel has no sales. Will experience their biggest loss to date this qtr and the agreement with comtel is only an agreement to distribute,No capital influx no sales and no contracts to date. This run up is purely on a biased test. They are not h323 conpatible and they can't talk to any of the major players. They even say they could not communicate with VocalTecs gateway. They ran an ethernet backbone
and said they sounded better. You put them out on the real net and they won't get to Mississippi.Ftels got a network already up and running and is about to become a major jumping off point for wcom's backbone anywhere in the world. All these day after companies that jump in won't last without a major alliance partner in their pocket.they just don't have the capital to ramp up enough to get profitable in the needed time frame.Ftel will be world wide probably by year end in some capacity.VocalTec already is.Who are the major players going to go with
a company that has established the standard like vocaltec and Ftel that has a truly efficient setup or a company that does not want to be part of the industry as it stands today.I'm still trying how to run IP without a physical layer and as I said before in a post on the vocaltec board theres many reasons they are where they are.
