I've tried to resist the temptation to post for weeks, but have given in finally. I too have watched the various J. Banks vehicles under their various incarnations suck a lot of hard-earned money out of the pockets of trusting investors. I have never invested in any myself, but watching these things implode has been one of the most remarkable freak shows I've ever seen in the markets. It staggers me, simply staggers me, that anyone, anywhere, for any reason, would ever ever invest in the stock of a company if Banks and Co. had as much as ever parked a car in the corporate parking lot. There's money to be made, sure, for the fleet of foot, judging by the historical record at least. I have no idea how involved he still is to DVNTF - I'm not an investor and haven't done any DD. He's clearly a substantial shareholder and was instrumental, as has been pointed out repeatedly, in TIPI. That's enough to hoist the yellow sign high. Keep your heads up, gentlemen, and be prepared to move quickly. Good luck.
