I almost posted a note about how a relationship between LVLT and RCNC wouldn't make a lot of sense except if RCNC were to be an LVLT customer for backhaul of data to internet servers. Then I did some checking and learned RCNC isn't just a dial-up reseller. They are attempting to become a complete facilities based local access and data provider using the power company networks as the entry. That is intriguing.

Also, I've always thought the power companies wanted to own the end-user, ie, sell voltage and telecom together. In fact it looks like RCNC is keeping the power guys away from the end user while they build a local fiber network. It would seem to dovetail with the MFS style model quite nicely.
