Well I've got to draw the line somewhere. And besides, wouldn't I be cheating my employer out of my ever attentiveness if I were to tired to work the next day. (My job is relatively easy. It is only frustrating for the most part.)
I don't really follow any sport actively. I'll watch a game of this or that for awhile here and there, but not enough to really be into any one sport. You know, I know a few personalities and the like, but couldn't give stats on any of them.
It was probably about 9 or 10 years ago that I saw my first baseball game in an actual ballpark. We sat up in the nose-bleed section, but still, it was fun. That same year, I went to the same stadium, Arrowhead in Kansas City, and saw my first football game. Watching them live and in person is definitely much more fun. I used to not be able to watch a baseball game for very long because it was so boring or so it seemed. It wasn't until I realized that all of the players are so good, that I understood how hard it is to score, or even appreciate when a player can get a hit and get to base let alone a double or triple. Now, at least, I do enjoy watching the pennent championships and the world series.
If Canada is so much like the U.S., why haven't you been given statehood? <g> Puerto Rico might possibly become the 51st state should it pass congress and the Puertoricans vote for it themselves. Add another 4 million welfare recipients; hell yes, make 'em a state.
Better git before I say something I regret.
Stay well, |
