It is not that I like the AMD stock, but I do like the AMD thread here at SI because there are full of low life's like this pearl. It is rather entertaining to read posts composed by low-life's.
Now, let's talk about what I think about AMD.
Remember last year. AMD had a big run from $15 to $50 due to super-hyping of K6. K6 was supposed to be an Intel killer, but due to obvious aggressiveness in design and immature process technology (IMO) that it fell very short of its expectation.
Now, here is another repeat, not hype this time but rumors. You really have to hand it to whoever started the rumors about super yield improvement and possible buy-out suitor. That boosts AMD stock just in time for AMD to issue more. Too much of a coincidence, that sounds very fishy, does it not? The worst thing about it is that we may not find out the truth until Q3 or Q4. In the up-coming CC, AMD is certainly going to use these rumors to their advantage. This company is really amazing! Again, you really have to hand it to them. Just when Intel is just about to bleed-dry out AMD, AMD pulled out a trump card. Jerry is not only a very good salesman. H is also a very good politician. Hey, this is what makes investment so unpredictable. You not only have to worry about technology but also propaganda and politics aspect of it.
Anyway, I have to say good luck to you tomorrow (another Friday coming up).
