Roger:

Thanks for the reply. I am still very bullish on BNT - especially now that BNT company says it is still pursuing the deal with Schwarz, and furthermore will use its manufacturing plant in Spain as a bargaining chip. As I see it, Schwarz could end up with the facility in Spain and BNT could end up with the rights to the drugs without having to put up gobs of cash. I was a little worried that BNT was putting itself in a weak bargaining position by simply offering cash for the rights to the Schwarz portfolio of drugs. A deal involving some sort of trade with the Spain plant could potentially turn out much more beneficial for BNT.

I don't know how long it will take to put the deal with Schwarz together, but the company has roughly 3 more quarters of losses (under its current operating situation) before its cash runs out. If a deal with Schwarz could be sealed before the end of 2Q98, BNT would still have a healthy buffer of cash to enter a new phase of growth, and have some immediate revenue producers in the form of the new drugs. I think its a likely scenario. Do you know of something else that I should be considering?

Regards,
Kirk
