I believe the unit price is too high. A company press release on 1/26/98 set the MSRP for RS2000 24-port at $9,995 with a limited time introductory price of $6,995. My guess would be that the OEM agreement with Compaq and others to follow (I hope) will be more in the neighborhood of the $6,995 price.

I can't speak to the other numbers.
