Brad, great story, if it were actually true. Are you going to yell "April Fool!" now, a day late? <<<<Ira has a certain "fire in his belly" that few business people have. I met another fellow years ago (1981 or so) that Ira reminds me of an awful lot. He was just a hotel manager at the time. The hotel manager ran a place called the Disneyland Hotel at the time. His name was Michael Eisner. That hotel manager is now Chairman and CEO of the Walt Disney Company.>>>> Eisner was president of Paramount Pictures in 1981. For several years before that, and several after... He never worked for a hotel in his life, or Disney before 1984, when he joined them (not as hotel manager) but CEO.
