For the year, as you mentioned, TMEI's EPS had a big jump .28 vs .05. However, the company did not break out the fourth quarter, a practice I don't like. From my figures, TMEI's fourth quarter revenues doubled based on reported sales (non-proforma sales) but EPS was either a loss of three cents or breakeven because they reported 9-months EPS of 31 cents (not sure if primary or diluted). Perhaps this is seasonal, because last year they lost 10 cents in the fourth quarter. TMEI said there is some current softness due to some customers pushing out existing orders... and that the company "will be operating at an adjusted rate of growth and profitability during the remainder of 1998". I was spooked by this and bailed. The company does expect "stronger sales and net income in 1998" plus "improvements" in their manufacturing process, so the longer term outlook still looks good, IMO.
