If by "holding out" you mean "wait for lower prices" then the
answer is yes. If lower prices don't happen, I'll just have to find a stock where there is a relationship between anticipated earnings and stock price. I do own some AMAT, but the stock's action reminds me
of internet stocks right now.

Prashanth, even the best informed investors on this thread (I don't
consider myself to be one of them) have in the past been surprised
by events. It may be better you follow your own research and gut feel.
