It's well known now that the SparQ drive - while less expensive than the Jaz - is inherently less reliable. In fact, the SparQ is not even a cross-platform drive. It won't work on Macs. PC's only.

I had seen a product review on the SparQ recently that indicated that the SparQ appeared to be unreliable and difficult to install. The SparQ media was flimsy the bundled software was practically worthless. The claimed they wouldn't trust the SparQ with their data.

In any case, the SparQ drive looks "chintzy" to me.

Cheap, yes....and it shows.
