Yes, Now, I Remember...
After taking gingko supplements this morning, I DO
remember the silence-before-SPO "strategy." I also
remember, unfortunately, how little I cared for the
company's pairing of earnings and SPO announcements.
I think I "puled" about that for several days. ("Puled"
is a word that I ran across in Edward Albee's play,
All Over. It means to whine or whimper. Leave it
to somebody like Edward Albee to find such a word,
much less use it. Now that I've used it in a sentence,
it will never cross my mind or keyboard again.)
Actually, I am glad to hear that Harry's still got that
axe... because the company had several, IMHO, slow learners
or folks who were missing the big e-commerce picture and
ways for SEEK to capitalize upon it.
I don't have a direct inside track, but occasionally
stumble across insiders in my/our business dealings. Usually,
I don't get around to mentioning that I'm a SEEK-holder
until my questions give me away.
Anyway, thanks Gene for the update. Always good to hear
from you...
