Zebra, I have always utilized charting successfully when applied to stocks which trade consistently high volume. As the volume becomes more volatile I find less accuracy. On the consistently large volume stocks a jump in volume would be indicative of institutional blocks coming in, while on these peepees it could be nothing less than someone dipping into their right pocket.

I liken it to the weather, if you really want to know how prepare for the day, you might want to stick your head out the door. Black clouds may give you an indication. The same with the tape. Since the T/A indicators are based on what has already printed, it could be raining before you realize that those clouds had meaning.

All I looked for was a support area, kind of like taking my umbrella along.

Nibbled, and got lucky.
