Excellent report from Stratfor, but I wonder what Japan can do to stimulate the economy as Mr.Ohga stop short of elaborating what the solutions are except that the economy needs stimulating. Obviously, BOJ won't of much help since the interest is already at a historically low rate of some 1/2 % or something like that.So what are they going to do to stimulate the economy? I am thinking what happens if Japan does the following:

1) Opens up the domestic market.
2) Embark on massive government spending program since they have the
money.
3) Implement a precipitous tax cut.
4) Clean up the banking system.

Any thoughts???
